Celebrating you
As we enter our third month of ‘lockdown’ in some ways we’ve found new ways of living on a day to day basis; any immediate anxiety has dulled a bit, and we are ‘getting on with it’.
Is that true for you? How about those around you, those who rely on you? How are they doing?
Are you even aware of those who you influence or reassure in some way? What might they understand about how you think and act?
I think that sometimes men do get on with it and fail to notice precisely how important what they provide is to those around them… their partner, their family, their friends and community and business or workplace.
Come to join me in something pretty unusual, to celebrate how deeply you have been thinking and what you’ve been doing. A genuine celebration of men!
Here are some ways that you and others could benefit…
Build a deeper awareness about yourself – what you do well and how you might expand it
Remind yourself about the different ways that we do things, very often the differences between men/boys and women/girls
Get thanked and recognised more for the practical ways that you love and support others
Have closer and more loving relationships in your life
Protect those around you in a way that they notice and truly value
I respect, understand and thoroughly enjoy many great relationships with men in my life ; in my professional life, in business and through deep friendships. I was ‘reminded’ just yesterday about how men love to help women! I really enjoy our differences. I want to help people shine more as themselves, to focus on how we speak and listen to each other more carefully during this time and to be happier and better-informed.
I’ve worked with people’s services for forty years. My approach is a really practical way, assisting people to identify and own their strengths, build on them and flourish in times of challenge. I often work with individuals, couples , families and groups during periods of family, community and workplace challenge and conflict, or when things are ‘stuck’ in some way.
Entering the Golden Room, an arm of my business enterprise, runs as a discrete service to people who find themselves at a cross-roads in life.
